Breast Cancer Emergency Fund - While lawmakers lunch with lobbyists in Washington and dither about health care, the BCEF is a grassroots response to the debacle. They provide emergency financial assistance to low-income women and men of San Francisco and San Mateo County who are being treated for breast cancer. Women For Women International - Women for Women International mobilizes women to change their lives through a holistic approach that addresses the unique needs of women in conflict and post-conflict environments. Kind Campaign – A movement and documentary, based upon the powerful belief in KINDness, that brings awareness and healing to the negative and lasting effects of girl-against-girl cruelty and bullying. Our “Love In Kind” bags benefit this extraordinary organization.

Greenpeace – For 35 years, Greenpeace has been actively trying to save our planet and save us from ourselves. They were protecting the environment long before it was the “in” thing to do. Global Exchange – This San Francisco-based organization is one of the groups that Marty worked with when she did human rights work down in Chiapas, Mexico in the aftermath of the Zapatista rebellion. They have a wide-range of programs helping people in crisis worldwide - AND THEY ALSO HAPPEN TO BE A CUSTOMER.

NAWBO-LA Founded in 1975, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the voice of America’s 10.1 million women-owned businesses. NAWBO’s Los Angeles chapter is one NAWBO’s leading and most innovative chapters. Its mission is to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power.

City of Hope Donor Program - Marty's co-author Christine Calla decided to become part of this hospital’s bone marrow donor registry, and saved a total stranger’s life when they discovered she was a match!
